I am not ashamed to admit that most of my photography is heavily manipulated. I am all about the art and the expression. Sometimes photos need a little help to become the image you had in mind, not what the image the camera produced. This forum is to share with others how you arrived from start to finish.

The second photo is a smaller version, unfortunately, but you can see the changes (including getting rid of the com trail in the sky).

I love these before and afters.. I think this is what I love about photograhy the most.. I mean I love taking the pics of course but I also LOVE to personalize them..

This is a pic of my cousin Alesha.. She is a very very pretty girl BUT she had crazy baaaaaaaaaaaaad acne on the day these pics were taken (Thanksgiving day!!!) She was kinda upset and really worried at how they would look with her blemished face.. I looooooooove how they turned out!

I just started playing with HDR, so here's one I took on the north west coast of Scotland this summer:

This is very nice, too often HDR is used to create something garish

Since I am just starting in the HDR area, I am trying to err on this side of garish.  I do hope that wasn't sarcasm?  Stick out tongue

Here's another couple I played with.  This one I wanted very dramatic and otherworldly:
