Ha!  we don't get snow, I'm in Florida  :)  I haven't seen snow for 6 years, since I went up to visit my in-laws in Maine for Christmas (came back with Pneumonia!)

I was completly tricked today. I woke up, looked outside and it was snowing! heavy clowd cover, some fog, freezing cold. I put on a long sleeve t-shirt, a hoodie, my snowboard jacket, beanie, and gloves and was still freezing. I walked to campus, two hours later when I got out of my class, the sun was shining and not a cloud in the sky. I sweated the whole way home.

I spoke too soon, it snowed yesterday! Christy, are you close to a beach?

I am as far as you can get from a beach and still be in Florida - I'm in the center of the north part of the state (Gainesville).  It's about an hour and a half drive either east or west to get to a beach.  But that's fine - we're driving down to Boca Raton this weekend for a visit, so we'll see beach there :)

I grew up with cows so I always hated the first big snow because that meant that we had to start feeding everyday until late Aprilish. I still have a hard time when people say how happy they are for snow (I guess the bitterness never left). Make snow warmer and I might consider liking it.

I know what you mean, Rob! I truly am thankful for snow because I know some people travel for miles to experience it; I just wish the frigid cold didn't come with it (through May!) Tongue Tied

I can't say I want it, but I appreciate it! Now if I was on a beach with snow, that would be ideal.

You should post a link to your site into your Bio or the Announcements on your page so it is there as well as under your pictures..easily accessible. I will be checking those out-thanks jadeast!

In regards to "snowy" pictures I am a big fan of the Old Barn 7 image and the Mountain Stream in British Columbia is breathtaking!

This is off the subject of snow but I thought I would add my 2cents in about this site.. I think it's coming along nicely!  It's a new site so of course it's going to have kinks and such that is just what happens..  I do wish more people would post but that has a lot to do with word of mouth or in this case word of fingers???  LOL..We have to spread the word about this site.  And Jadest... The "picture takers" have to start somewhere.. I am sure you were once a "picture taker" too;)
